First Aid at Work 

The QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (QCF) qualification is specifically designed for individuals who wish to act as a first aider in their workplace. Successful candidates will learn how to manage a range of injuries and illnesses that could occur at work and will be equipped with the essential skills needed to give emergency first aid.

Emergency First Aid at Work 

The 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work Course is the most popular course delivered for the workplace, for you and your staff. We teach more on our one-day courses than most of our competitors including the use of a defibrillator.. No matter what line of work that you are in, this course is guaranteed to give you the extra confidence and knowledge to deal with that first aid emergency.

Paediatric First Aid

The QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (QCF)  qualification is ideal for those who work or intend to work in a childcare setting as it has been specifically designed to fulfil Ofsted’s first aid requirements for early years teachers, nursery workers and childminders (as defined within the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage 2014 and within the Child Care Register guide).

Paediatric EFAW

Would you know what to do if you saw a child in need of first aid? 
Having a good understanding of emergency paediatric first aid is incredibly important for the safety of the children and it could mean the difference between life and death.  
The Level 3 award in emergency paediatric first aid  is  preferred for: 

Parents, Nannys, and snyone who works with children on a daily basis. 

 

FPOS (AoFA)

The level 3 award in the first person on scene intermediate has been designed to provide the knowledge and skills to stabilise a patient for upto forty minutes until an ambulance arrives. This qualification is the foundation level for      pre-hospital care and enables progress after ompleation. 

 

 

Driver CPC

A 7 hour professional drivers first aid course gives professional drivers the skills, knowledge and the confidence to deliver effective first aid in the event of an emergency incident on the road. 

This course can be used towards the periodic training required to keep the driver certificate for professional competence (driver CPC), which all professional lorry, bus and coach drivers must have in order to maintain a high driving standard.

 

 

 

Safe ues of AED

Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are now becoming more common throughout a range of workplaces. A  casualty’s chance of survival will dramatically decrease at a rate of 10% per minute if an AED is not available. This very practical Automated External Defibrillator course will allow suitably qualified First Aid personnel to use the AED     competently and with confidence.

 

CPR and Anaphylaxis

Allergies are now even more common than ever before. With large numbers of people now suffering from allergies, the ability to understand allergic conditions, and deal with sudden or severe symptoms is fast becoming an essential part of life.

You will learn how to prevent, recognise and treat severe allergic reactions including the use of adrenaline       auto-injectors. You will also learn how to carry out effective CPR.

 

CPR & AED

Ready to be shocked? An Automated External Defibrillator, or AED, is the ONLY thing that will bring someone back to life  following a cardiac arrest. Yes CPR is also vitally important but CPR keeps your organs alive, it won’t bring you back.

 

Equestrian First Aid 

Equestrian First aid is a course designed for those who ride and work around horses.

This course will provide you with the knowledge, confidence  and skills to make you a life saver both in and out of work by         effectively recognising and treating a person who has been injured or taken ill. The course will go more into depth with    equestrian related injuries such as falls from a horse and mechanism of injuries, Head and spinal injuries, whiles going in to the day to day emergencies that’s you may come across.

 

 

Active First Aid

 

Anyone involved in sporting activities – attendees could include horse riders, sport referees in  addition to coaches and players.

This Level 2 qualification is made up of 2 units     including Emergency First Aid at Work.

It is specifically designed for those who are  involved in many activities, including schools,

 

 

Safeguarding Adults

The level 2 Award in safeguaring of vunerable adults is designed to provide learners with the underpinning knowledge to support their organisations in their commitment and legal obligation to safeguard vunerable adults. 

 

Safeguaring Children

The level 2 award in safeguarding children and young people (England and Wales) course is designed to provide individuals with and awareness level of training in safeguarding. The emphasis of the course is based upon the recognition of abuse and encouraging the reporting of abuse to appropriate authorities and providing an overview of legislative requierments for information purposes. 

 

Conflict Management

This qualification provides the knowledge to deal with conflictin the workplace and manage one's own personal saftey. Smployers have a legal obligation under health and saftey legislations to provide a safe place of work and have a duty of care over thier employees. 

 

Safe Administration of medication 

The level 2 award in the introduction to safe and handling and administration of medication course has been designed to provide learniers who are new to the health and social sector and require the underpinning knowledge to address the skills for health care. 

This is aimed at anyone in the health and social care setting. 

 

 

Infection Preventions and Control 

The Level 2 National award in the principles and pratice of infection prevention and control qualification is designed to provide learniers with the underpinning knowledge to contribute to the prevention of infections and disease in the healthcare setting. 

 

Manual handling

The Level 2 Award in safe manual handling is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those who work, or intend to work, in a role that involves manual handlaing. Its a perfect course for those working in a varierty of enviroments including warehouses and shops.
